مقدمة:

توجت غرفة تجارة وصناعة عجمان جهودها في العام 2021 في دعم مجتمع الأعمال والمساهمة في نمو القطاعات الاقتصادية وتحفيز تجارة إمارة عجمان وتشجيع الاستثمار وتسهيل نموه من خلال نجاحها في تحقيق نقلة نوعية عن طريق عدد من المشروعات والمبادرات والنشاطات التي كان لها الأثر الكبير في خدمة قطاع الأعمال والمجتمع المحلي في إمارة عجمان. ما يعد مؤشراً واضحاً على الدور الحيوي الذي تسهم به الغرفة في تمثيل ودعم وحماية مصالح مجتمع الأعمال في عجمان، من خلال خلق بيئة محفزة للأعمال والترويج للإمارة كمركز تجاري عالمي والارتقاء بإمكاناتها الاقتصادية والتنافسية، كما يؤكد تعافي السوق المحلي نتيجة للقرارات والمحفزات الحكومية التي أسهمت في تعزيز ثقة أصحاب المنشآت والمستثمرين بواقع الأعمال التجارية في عجمان.

فضلاً عن ذلك، فقد قامت الغرفة بتنظيم والمشاركة في العديد من الفعاليات التي ترتكز على المعرفة والتطوير، وفعاليات تخدم وتدعم النشاط الاقتصادي بالإمارة، بجانب فتح فرص تسويقية لاستثمارات جديدة في قطاعات الأعمال.

وتحرص غرفة عجمان على تهيئة المناخ الداعم والمشجع على الابتكار بهدف تطوير بيئة العمل الداخلية ودعم مسيرة الغرفة في تقديم خدمات استباقية تمكن أصحاب الأعمال من تطوير أنشطتهم وتضع اقتصاد الإمارة في دائرة التنافسية المحلية والاقليمية والدولية وجذب المستثمرين، ما يعكس توجهات الدولة في تعزيز ثقافة الابتكار كأسلوب حياة ومنهج للعمل. سنتطرق في هذا التقرير إلى رحلة إنجازات غرفة تجارة وصناعة عجمان والمؤسسات التابعة لها، عن طريق استعراضها بالأرقام والتقارير والصور، وعلى أهم مبادراتها ومشاريعها وخدماتها ومشاركاتها على المستوى المحلي والإقليمي والدولي، بجانب خطتها الاستراتيجية 2022-2026 وما ترمي إليه من المساهمة في تطوير ودعم قطاع الأعمال بالإمارة والدولة.

يطيب لي، بالأصالة عن نفسي ونيابة عن أعضاء مجلس إدارة غرفة عجمان، أن أقدم التقرير السنوي لأداء غرفة تجارة وصناعة عجمان للعام ٢٠٢١، والذي يتضمن ما قامت به الغرفة من أنشطة وفعاليات ومبادرات مختلفة، التي كان لها الأثر الجم في دعم اقتصاد عجمان والعمل على تعزيز موقعها كمركز للأعمال ووجهة استثمارية تتمتع ببيئة جاذبة للمستثمرين وأصحاب الأعمال. كما يتضمن التقرير ما حققته الغرفة من إنجازات لخدمة قطاع الأعمال والمجتمع المحلي في إمارة عجمان، إضافة إلى ما قامت به من دور في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتعزيز مسيرة التنمية المستدامة.

وكان لغرفة عجمان السبق على امتداد مسيرتها في المساهمة في تعزيز الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين القطاعين العام والخاص وزيادة مساهمة القطاع الخاص في عملية التنمية الاقتصادية الشاملة والمستدامة، كما عملت غرفة عجمان ضمن مهامها المتعددة على توفير الإمكانيات والتغلب على الصعوبات التي قد تواجه قطاع الأعمال، بما يعزز من دوره في النهضة الاقتصادية التي تشهدها الإمارة والدولة.

وبتوفيق من الله عز وجل، ودعم القيادة الحكيمة ورؤية صاحب السمو الشيخ حميد بن راشد النعيمي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم عجمان وسمو الشيخ عمار بن حميد النعيمي ولي عهد عجمان رئيس المجلس التنفيذي، تمكنت غرفة عجمان من إنجاز العديد من النجاحات التي تهدف إلى خدمة القطاع الخاص في الإمارة عبر العديد من الفعاليات والأحداث والأنشطة، بالإضافة إلى دعم جهود الجهات الرسمية لاجتذاب المزيد من الشركات العالمية للاستثمار في القطاعات والمجالات التي حددتها رؤية عجمان وخططها الاقتصادية التي تهدف إلى وجود مصادر دخل متنوعة من خلال بناء اقتصاد مستدام قائم على المعرفة.

وفي الختام، لا يفوتني أن أرفع باسم مجلس إدارة الغرفة أسمى آيات الشكر والعرفان وعظيم الامتنان لصاحب السمو الشيخ حميد بن راشد النعيمي وسمو الشيخ عمار بن حميد النعيمي ولي عهد عجمان على الدعم الذي تحظى به الغرفة منهما، سائلين الله العلي القدير أن يحفظهما ذخراً وسنداً لوطننا وأبنائه.

يسرنا في غرفة عجمان أن نقدم لكم التقرير السنوي للغرفة للعام 2021 ، والذي يتضمن الإنجازات التي تمت لخدمة قطاع الأعمال، مع التأكيد على مواصلة السعي للارتقاء بمستوى جودة الخدمات وتطويرها بما يساعد على تعزيز دور القطاع الخاص بإمارة عجمان في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني، وتحقيق مستهدفات خطة الخمسين الطموحة وخطة عجمان 2030.

ويعتبر عام 2021 عاماً استثنائياً للغرفة، حيث تم إطلاق خطة غرفة عجمان الاستراتيجية لعام 2022-2026، والتي تهدف إلى تحقيق الريادة العالمية في ضمان استدامة مجتمع أعمال متنام يواكب المستقبل، بجانب تمثيل وحماية مصالح مجتمع أعمال إمارة عجمان وقيادة جهود التوعية والشراكات لتحقيق النمو المستقبلي المستدام وتعزيز استدامة مجتمع الأعمال ونموه واستشراف وصناعة مستقبل الأعمال وتعزيز ممكنات التنافسية والريادة بالإمارة.

كما استمرت الغرفة في أداء رسالتها لخدمة الاقتصاد الوطني من خلال إبراز دور القطاع الخاص في تعزيز مسيرة التنمية، حيث قامت بتنظيم العديد من الملتقيات وورش العمل والندوات والمحاضرات لمناقشة العديد من القضايا التي تهم رجال وسيدات الأعمال، هذا بالإضافة إلى إعداد الدراسات وإصدار العديد من المؤشرات الاقتصادية. كما عملت على تقديم العديد من الخدمات والبرامج، لا سيما في قطاع التدريب حيث نظمت عدداً من الدورات التدريبية المجانية الموجهة للشباب والشابات بهدف تجهيزهم لسوق العمل وتوفير فرص توظيف لهم من خلال التنسيق مع منشآت القطاع الخاص بإمارة عجمان.

وفي الختام أعبر عن تقديري لكل الأخوة العاملين في غرفة عجمان على جهودهم المتميزة وإخلاصهم وتفانيهم في أداء الأعمال والمهام الموكلة إليهم، ونتعهد بمواصلة تقديم أفضل الخدمات لخدمة القطاع الخاص في إمارة عجمان بكل جهودنا، والعمل على الارتقاء بشراكته مع القطاع العام لتعزيز مساهمته في عملية التنمية المستدامة في الإمارة في ظل قيادتنا الرشيدة.

نبذة عن مشروع الاستراتيجية الجديدة:

تعزيزاً للشراكة مع قطاع الأعمال من أجل المضي نحو تحقيق الريادة العالمية لضمان استدامة مجتمع أعمال متنامٍ يواكب المستقبل، أطلقت غرفة تجارة وصناعة عجمان خطتها الاستراتيجية 2022-2026 لتساهم بدور فعال وحيوي في تمكين إمارة عجمان من المنافسة والتميز عالمياً وترسيخ مكانتها كبيئة اقتصادية جاذبة للاستثمار، مما يساهم في تحقيق التوجهات الاستراتيجية للغرفة، وقد تم ترجمة هذه التوجهات من خلال 3 محاور رئيسية:

الرؤية:

تحقيق الريادة العالمية في ضمان استدامة مجتمع أعمال متنام يواكب المستقبل.

الرسالة:

تمثيل وحماية مصالح مجتمع أعمال إمارة عجمان وقيادة جهود التوعية والشراكات لتحقيق النمو المستقبلي المستدام.

نتائج الأداء الاستراتيجي لغرفة عجمان 2021

نتائج الأداء الاستراتيجي لغرفة عجمان ومساهمتها في تحقيق رؤية عجمان:

الهدف الاستراتيجي:

بناء مقومات اقتصاد منتج.

المؤشر:

10% نمو حجم قيم شهادات المنشأ خلال الأعوام من 2018-2021.

النتيجة:

تم تحقيق المستهدف.

الهدف الاستراتيجي:

تحفيز مساهمة القطاع الخاص في تنمية المجتمع.

المؤشر:

1% من المنشآت الاقتصادية التي لديها نشاطات تتعلق بالمسؤولية المجتمعية.

النتيجة:

تجاوز المركز المستهدف 1% أي ما يمثل الوصول إلى 350 منشأة، حيث استطاع المركز الوصول إلى 413 منشأة أي ما يمثل نسبة زيادة 0.18%.

المشاريع والمبادرات 2021

مشروع معرض عجمان الدولي الافتراضي للتعليم والتدريب:

تنظيم معرض افتراضي سنوي في إمارة عجمان بمشاركة محلية ودولية من الجامعات والمعاهد الخاصة ليخدم القطاع التعليمي, وذلك من خلال توفير منصة افتراضية, بحيث تعرض أهم التخصصات الأكاديمية، واستقطاب مؤسسات تعليمية رائدة لتعريف المؤسسات المشاركة بتطورات قطاع التعليم بالإمارة وما تقدمه من تسهيلات للاستثمار فيه, والترويج للمؤسسات التعليمية والتدريبية العليا من جامعات وكليات دولية ومعاهد تدريب, وإتاحة منصة لعرض خدماتها ومنتجاتها, وإطلاع أولياء الأمور والمهتمين من الطلبة على آخر المستجدات التي توصل إليها قطاع التعليم, وإلقاء الضوء على أحدث مستجدات التعليم العالي من برامج ومسابقات تواكب مهن المستقبل. بالإضافة إلى توفير فرصة للمؤسسات التعليمية الراغبة في الاستثمار في إمارة عجمان للقاء بأصحاب القرار والتعرف على القوانين والتسهيلات المتاحة لهم.

التطبيق الذكي للغرفة:

تطبيق ذكي شامل لخدمات غرفة عجمان يمكن العملاء من الاستفادة من جميع الخدمات التي تقدمها الغرفة بسهولة وسرعة عالية.

رقمنة خدمة طلب معلومات عضوية منشآت:

وهو مشروع يهدف إلى تحويل عملية تقديم الطلب والدفع إلى عملية إلكترونية بهدف تسهيل إجراءات الخدمات، وتوفير الوقت والجهد، ورفع رضا المتعاملين.

منصة «إشعار» بالتعاون مع اتحاد الغرف:

تعمل منصة "إشعار" على رصد كافة التحديات والقضايا التجارية التي تهم أعضاءها على المستويين المحلي والاتحادي, ومن ثم دراستها ووضع الحلول المقترحة والتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة بالقطاع العام لإعادة النظر في السياسات الاقتصادية والقوانين واللوائح التنظيمية بهدف حماية ورعاية مصالح أعضائها.

دليل صادرات عجمان:

وهو مشروع دليل للمصانع، يهدف إلى خلق بيئة تنافسية في إمارة عجمان للجانب الصناعي ونشر التوعية عن المصانع المصدرة في الإمارة والترويج لها وتنمية الصادرات.

منصة «فرص» بالتعاون مع اتحاد الغرف:

منصة إلكترونية توفر بيانات وإحصائيات وفرص التصدير والتبادل التجاري للسلع والمنتجات المصدرة والمستوردة).

تعهد الابتكار الرقمي:

من منطلق حرص وسعي غرفة عجمان إلى تطوير وتطبيق برنامج فعال ومتكامل للابتكار، تم إعداد وثيقة تعهد الابتكار لتطبيق وتطوير الإجراءات والسلوكيات اللازمة للابتكار داخل الغرفة وتوقيع وتعهد موظفي غرفة عجمان عليها.

تعهد الابتكار الرقمي

مشروع تطوير قدرات الابتكار المؤسسي لغرفة عجمان:

من خلال تطوير استراتيجية ومنظومة الابتكار لدى غرفة عجمان لتحقيق الأهداف الاستراتيجية للغرفة وبما يتوائم مع تطلعاتها المستقبلية نحو تحقيق التميز والريادة ومواكبة المستقبل. ويهدف هذا المشروع إلى تحقيق تطوير استراتيجية الابتكار للغرفة ووضع نظام شامل وموحد لإدارة الابتكار في الغرفة وفق المعايير المحلية والعالمية وأنظمة وآليات العمل الخاصة بالابتكار لأفضل الممارسات العالمية مثل GINI و 56002 ISO، وتصميم مختبر الابتكار.

مشروع مركز الابتكار وتطوير الأعمال:

يهدف هذا المشروع إلى توفير البيئة الداعمة والمحفّزة للابتكار, لتطوير خدمات الغرفة وعملياتها المؤسسية وتحفيز توليد الأفكار لدى موظفيها، ودعم مشاريع الأعمال المبتكرة في الإمارة وتنميتها واحتضانها, بتوفير برامج تدريب وتوجيه ومبادرات تشجع على تطوير منتجات وخدمات مبتكرة في قطاع الأعمال، مما يعزز دور الغرفة في مجال الابتكار والتنافسية ودعم تطبيق الابتكار في قطاع الأعمال، ويكون أول مركز ابتكار موجه لقطاع الأعمال في الإمارة.

دليل رواد الأعمال:

تصميم دليل روّاد الأعمال وتعميم ونشر النسخة الإلكترونية من الدليل على الأعضاء والدوائر الحكومية، بهدف الترويج لروّاد الأعمال ودعم استمرارية الأعمال.

المكتبة القانونية:

مكتبة إلكترونية تتيح للأعضاء الاطلاع على جميع القوانين الاقتصادية والتجارية وكل ما يستجد من قوانين ذات العلاقة ببيئة الأعمال. يتضمن نطاق المشروع خاصية للأعضاء تتيح لهم إبداء رأيهم ومقترحاتهم التطويرية بالقوانين والتشريعات، لإيصال صوتهم للجهات المختصة بهدف تطوير بيئة الأعمال بالإمارة.

منتدى الأعمال الإماراتي - الأسترالي:

مشاركة في منتدى الأعمال الإماراتي - الأسترالي بحضور رئيس وزراء دولة أستراليا والشيخ أحمد بن سعيد آل مكتوم وعدد من المسؤولين الإماراتيين والأستراليين.
حضر المنتدى عدد كبير من الشركات والدوائر الحكومية لمناقشة بعض الجوانب المتعددة من ناحية الاقتصاد والسياحة والتبادل التجاري.

زيارة جناح مولدوفا:

تم الاطلاع على أهم المعالم والتعرف على طبيعة الاستثمار فيها والإلمام بالابتكارات لديهم.

زيارة جناح بولندا:

تم الاطلاع على الجناح الذي يتميز بالتصميم الداخلي الذي يشبه اليخوت. تتميز بولندا في تصميم اليخت من حيث الخشب المستخدم والديكور الداخلي.

زيارة جناح كوسوفو:

ومقابلة نائب وزير الخارجية السيدة Liza Gashi ومدير الجناح وعدد من المسؤولين، وإجراء مناقشة عن إكسبو 2020 وأثره على السياحة والاستثمار في الدولة.

زيارة جناح باربادوس:

وهي دولة تتميز بالطبيعة الخلابة وعاصمتها بريدج تاون، ويسكن بها غالبية سكان الدولة.
تحتوي على الموانئ التي يرسو عليها أسطول صيد الأسماك المحلية واليخوت السياحية وعدد من أكبر البواخر السياحية في العالم.
يتركز الاقتصاد فيها على جميع الموارد، بما فيها صيد الأسماك والنقل والمواصلات.
هنالك توجه جديد للاقتصاد يعتمد على الوقود الحيوي والطاقة البحرية والصناعات الدوائية والبحرية.

ملتقى أعمال جمهورية صربيا في عجمان:

زيارة جناحي غرينادا وكوستاريكا وكلتاهما لديها اهتمام في مجالات التعليم والطب، حيث قامت دولة كوستاريكا بتخصيص ميزانية للقوة العسكرية والتعليم والرعاية الصحية. تولد 98% من طاقتها الكهربائية من الطاقة المتجددة، اختارت 12 من أصل 30 من أهم الشركات الطبية في العالم إنشاء مصانعها في كوستاريكا. تمتلك غرينادا إحدى أفضل الجامعات الطبية على مستوى العالم، وهي جامعة سانت جورج (St. George's University)، كما أنها تهتم بالاستثمارات الزراعية والبحرية، ويمثل الكاكاو وجوزة الطيب والفاكهة والخضروات الجزء الأكبر من صادراتها.

زيارة جناح دولة إيطاليا والاجتماع مع مدير الجناح أندريا مارين ومناقشة فرص التعاون بين الطرفين.
كما تم زيارة جناح دولة أرمينيا، وجنوب أفريقيا، وتركيا، وزامبيا.

زيارة وفد دولة البوسنة والهرسك لغرفة عجمان:

سعادة/ حمد بن راشد النعيمي - نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة عجمان وسعادة/ سالم بن أحمد النعيمي - عضو مجلس الإدارة يستقبل سعادة / عدنان ديليك - وزير الاقتصاد في كانتون سراييفو في دولة البوسنة والهرسك، بهدف تعزيز التعاون المشترك وبحث الفرص الاستثمارية، لتأتي الزيارة ضمن خطة تبادل الزيارات والوفود على هامش المشاركة في معرض إكسبو 2020 دبي.

أبرز الفرص الاستثمارية

1. تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات.

2. قطاع السياحة، وما تمتلكه البوسنة والهرسك من مقومات سياحية وطبيعة غنية.

3. قطاع الزراعة وصناعات الأغذية، وما يوفره القطاع الزراعي من فرص واعدة.

4. قطاع صناعة السيارات، وقطاع صناعة الخشب والأثاث.

5. قطاع صناعة الأدوية، وما تمتلكه الدولة من مختبرات متطورة وقدرة إنتاجية عالية في هذا القطاع.

بحضور سعادة الملحق التجاري ونائبه وعضو من السفارة في أبو ظبي، تم من خلال الإجتماع مناقشة فرص الاستثمار بين البلدين وأهم الأنشطة وتنمية التجارة وأيضاً تم اقتراح عمل منتدى للأعمال للمستثمرين بين البلدين أيضاً تم اقتراح عمل منتدى للأعمال للمستثمرين بين البلدين والذي يهدف إلى زيادة نسبة التجارة و والتصدير والتوريد.

الاجتماع مع دائرة البلدية والتخطيط - عجمان والتنسيق لإقامة فعالية:

تم الاجتماع مع دائرة البلدية والتخطيط - عجمان والتنسيق لإقامة فعالية في مقر الدائرة، كما حضر الاجتماع السيد/ عيسى العوضي والمهندسة/ لطيفة.

زيارة الأجنحة في معرض إكسبو 2020 دبي:

زيارة الأجنحة في معرض إكسبو، والتعرف على الوفود التجارية والمسؤولين، وذلك بهدف عقد اجتماعات معهم ودعوتهم لزيارة غرفة عجمان وإقامة فعاليات تهدف إلى تنمية الاقتصاد. وقد تم التواصل مع الأجنحة التالية: أستراليا، وإستونيا، وإسبانيا، والسعودية، والأوروغواي.

الجناح السلوفيني:

الاجتماع مع السيد/ ماركو من الجناح السلوفيني، واقتراح زيارة غرفة عجمان والتنسيق لإقامة فعالية للشركات، بجانب مشاركة الشركات في عجمان في الفعاليات التي يتم إقامتها في جناح سلوفينيا.

زيارة عدد من الأجنحة ودعوتهم لحضور فعالية دائرة الأراضي:

زيارة الأجنحة التالية ودعوتهم لحضور فعالية دائرة الأراضي: السعودية، والبحرين، وقطر، والكويت، وتركيا، وعمان، وروسيا، وسلوفينيا، ومصر، وكوسوفو، وبولندا.

الاجتماع مع مدير جناح دولة مصر:

تم الاجتماع مع الدكتور / خالد - مدير جناح مصر والمناقشة حول دعوة لزيارة رسمية لغرفة عجمان، كما تمت المناقشة عن إقامة فعالية في الجناح المصري بالتعاون مع الأجنحة الأخرى لشركات الأغذية.

الاجتماع مع جناح دولة أستراليا:

تم الاجتماع مع السيدة / مانيسا - مديرة الجناح الأسترالي عن بعد، والاتفاق على إرسال دعوة بجانب إمدادها بمعلومات عن إمارة عجمان بهدف زيارة غرفة عجمان.

الاجتماع مع مدير جناح دولة بولندا:

الاجتماع مع السيد / مونير - مدير جناح بولندا، والاتفاق على دعوة سيادته لزيارة غرفة عجمان وعليه، سيتم إقامة منتدى الأعمال للأعضاء في الفترة القادمة.

الاجتماع مع مسؤولين في جناح دولة روسيا:

الاجتماع مع السيدة ميرا من جناح روسيا، ودعوة سيادتها لحضور فعالية الأراضي، ومناقشة إقامة اجتماع بهدف دعوة سيادتها لزيارة رسمية لغرفة عجمان.

كما تم توفير قائمة بشركات الأغذية والسياحة في الإمارة لجناح البوسنة، كما تم التواصل مع جناح الإمارات لزيارة الوفد.

التواصل مع وفد كوسوفو لمتابعة عمل منتدى الأعمال وحضور فعالية اليوم الوطني.

الاجتماع مع مسؤولين من جناح دولة لبنان:

الاجتماع مع السيد/ أحمد - مدير جناح لبنان عن بعد، والمناقشة حول المنتدى اللبناني ومشاركة شركات الأغذية في عجمان بالمنتدى.

الاجتماع مع مديرة جناح دولة إستونيا:

تم الاجتماع مع السيدة / Ege - مديرة جناح إستونيا، وقد طلبت تنسيق زيارة للقاء رئيس غرفة عجمان وذلك بوجود وزير الاقتصاد.

أحد أهم مبادرات مجلس سيدات أعمال عجمان، وهو ملتقى افتراضي يضم كافة الشركاء الاستراتيجيين والداعمين والمتعاونين لإطلاعهم على الخطة الاستراتيجية العامة للمجلس وبرامجه ومشاريعه، ومناقشتهم والتحاور معهم حول آلية تطويرها من أجل تقديم خدمات مستدامة وشاملة لأصحاب المشاريع والاستفادة من تعميق الشراكة بينهم. وكان من أبرز أهداف الملتقى تعزيز الروابط بين مجتمعات سيدات الأعمال والمؤسسات والهيئات ذات الصلة بنشاط المجلس، وتفعيل الشراكات واستقطاب شراكات نوعية تخدم أصحاب المشاريع بجانب توثيق الروابط بين أصحاب المشاريع والجهات.

تطبيق ذكي لمركز عجمان للمسؤولية المجتمعية بالتعاون مع إدارة تقنية المعلومات والحلول الذكية، يهدف لمساعدة الأفراد والمؤسسات إلى التبرع بمقتنياتهم الغير مستخدمة, سواءً كانت صالحة للاستخدام أو قابلة للتدوير إلى الجمعيات الخيرية وشركات إعادة التدوير. ويتيح التطبيق للمستخدم رفع صورة للمنتج المُراد التبرع به، واختيار وقت التواصل مع المعنيين سواء الجمعيات الخيرية أو شركات إعادة التدوير.

تنظيم وتفعيل دور مركز عجمان لتشجيع قطاع الأعمال لتطبيق ممارسات المسؤولية المجتمعية لتطوير الآليات والسياسات المؤسسة، بجانب وضع السياسات والإجراءات الاسترشادية التي تنظم وتوضح الإطار التنظيمي لمساهمات المسؤولية المجتمعية وآلية توثيقها وإدارتها وتوجيهها في إمارة عجمان. ولاسيما الالتزام بالمعايير الدولية وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة للمجتمع بوجه عام والعاملين بالمؤسسات بشكل خاص.

تم إطلاق مبادرة "يد واحدة مع أصحاب الهمم"، حيث تهدف المبادرة إلى الأخذ باحتياجات ومتطلبات أصحاب الهمم من الطلبة الدارسين حالياً في جامعات إمارة عجمان وإشراكهم في المجتمع.

مبادرة "اليوم الصحي للعمال":

نظم مركز عجمان للمسؤولية المجتمعية - بالتعاون مع مستشفى أمينة ومصنع سيف تكس - مبادرة الفحوصات المجانية للعمال الإجراء عدد من الفحوصات الطبية، والتي تهدف إلى تحسين مستوى الصحة العامة لهذه الشريحة العاملة للوصول إلى أفضل النتائج المرجوة من خلال تدارك الأمراض التي يعاني منها العمال.

معرض سيال الشرق الأوسط في نسخته الحادية عشرة، والذي يُنظم من قبل "شركة أبوظبي الوطنية للمعارض" بالمشاركة مع مجموعة "كوميكس أكسبوزيم العالمية" لتنظيم المعارض والفعاليات. ضم المعرض مشاركة نحو 450 جهة عارضة من 24 دولة، إلى جانب مشاركة 12 جناحاً دولياً. وينطلق المعرض الذي يعتبر أحد أضخم الفعاليات المتخصصة في قطاع الأغذية والمشروبات بمشاركة واسعة من مؤسسات محلية وإقليمية وعالمية متخصصة ويسلط الضوء على أحدث الابتكارات والتقنيات والأمن الغذائي العالمي والتوجهات العالمية والمستقبلية في قطاع الأغذية والمشروبات والضيافة. ويعتبر معرض سيال الشرق الأوسط من أكبر منصات التفاعل بين أسواق الأغذية الناشئة، ويعمل على تشجيع الابتكار في مجال الأغذية والمشروبات، بجانب الكثير من الفرص الاستثمارية.

Introduction:

The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry culminated its efforts in 2021 in supporting the business community, contributing to the growth of economic sectors, stimulating trade in the Emirate of Ajman, and encouraging and facilitating investment growth. This was achieved through its success in making a qualitative leap via a number of projects, initiatives, and activities that had a significant impact on serving the business sector and the local community in the Emirate of Ajman. This is a clear indicator of the vital role the Chamber plays in representing, supporting, and protecting the interests of the business community in Ajman, by creating a stimulating business environment, promoting the Emirate as a global commercial hub, and enhancing its economic and competitive potential. It also confirms the recovery of the local market as a result of government decisions and incentives that have contributed to strengthening the confidence of establishment owners and investors in the business reality in Ajman.

Furthermore, the Chamber has organized and participated in many events focused on knowledge and development, events that serve and support economic activity in the Emirate, in addition to opening marketing opportunities for new investments in business sectors.

The Ajman Chamber is keen on creating a supportive and encouraging climate for innovation with the aim of developing the internal work environment and supporting the Chamber's journey in providing proactive services that enable business owners to develop their activities, placing the Emirate's economy in the circle of local, regional, and international competitiveness, and attracting investors. This reflects the country's directives in promoting a culture of innovation as a way of life and a work methodology. In this report, we will cover the journey of achievements of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its affiliated institutions, by reviewing them with figures, reports, and pictures. We will highlight its most important initiatives, projects, services, and participations at the local, regional, and international levels, in addition to its strategic plan for 2022-2026 and its aim to contribute to the development and support of the business sector in the Emirate and the country.

On my own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber, I am pleased to present the annual performance report of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the year 2021. This report includes the various activities, events, and initiatives undertaken by the Chamber, which had a significant impact on supporting Ajman's economy and enhancing its position as a business center and an investment destination with an attractive environment for investors and business owners. The report also includes the Chamber's achievements in serving the business sector and the local community in the Emirate of Ajman, in addition to its role in supporting the national economy and promoting the process of sustainable development.

Throughout its journey, the Ajman Chamber has been a pioneer in contributing to the strengthening of the strategic partnership between the public and private sectors and increasing the private sector's contribution to the comprehensive and sustainable economic development process. The Ajman Chamber, among its many tasks, has also worked to provide capabilities and overcome difficulties that may face the business sector, thereby enhancing its role in the economic renaissance witnessed by the Emirate and the country.

With the grace of God Almighty, and the support of the wise leadership and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, the Ajman Chamber has been able to achieve many successes aimed at serving the private sector in the Emirate through numerous events, happenings, and activities. This is in addition to supporting the efforts of official bodies to attract more international companies to invest in the sectors and fields specified by Ajman's vision and its economic plans, which aim to have diverse sources of income by building a sustainable, knowledge-based economy.

In conclusion, on behalf of the Chamber's Board of Directors, I would like to extend my highest thanks, gratitude, and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, for the support the Chamber receives from them. We at the Ajman Chamber are pleased to present to you the Chamber's annual report for the year 2021, which includes the achievements made to serve the business sector. We emphasize our continued pursuit to improve the quality of services and develop them in a way that helps enhance the role of the private sector in the Emirate of Ajman in supporting the national economy and achieving the objectives of the ambitious 'Projects of the 50' and the Ajman 2030 plan.

The year 2021 is considered an exceptional year for the Chamber, as the Ajman Chamber's strategic plan for 2022-2026 was launched. This plan aims to achieve global leadership in ensuring the sustainability of a growing business community that keeps pace with the future, in addition to representing and protecting the interests of the business community of the Emirate of Ajman, leading awareness efforts and partnerships to achieve sustainable future growth, enhancing the sustainability and growth of the business community, foreseeing and shaping the future of business, and enhancing the enablers of competitiveness and leadership in the Emirate.

The Chamber also continued to perform its mission to serve the national economy by highlighting the role of the private sector in promoting the development process. It organized many forums, workshops, seminars, and lectures to discuss various issues of interest to businessmen and businesswomen, in addition to preparing studies and issuing numerous economic indicators. It also worked on providing many services and programs, especially in the training sector, where it organized a number of free training courses for young men and women aimed at preparing them for the labor market and providing them with employment opportunities through coordination with private sector establishments in the Emirate of Ajman.

In conclusion, I express my appreciation to all my colleagues working in the Ajman Chamber for their distinguished efforts, sincerity, and dedication in performing the work and tasks assigned to them. We pledge to continue providing the best services to the private sector in the Emirate of Ajman with all our efforts, and to work on enhancing its partnership with the public sector to strengthen its contribution to the sustainable development process in the Emirate under our wise leadership.

Overview of the New Strategy Project:

To strengthen the partnership with the business sector and move towards achieving global leadership to ensure the sustainability of a growing, future-ready business community, the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry launched its strategic plan for 2022-2026. This plan will play an effective and vital role in enabling the Emirate of Ajman to compete and excel globally and to consolidate its position as an attractive economic environment for investment, which contributes to achieving the strategic directions of the Chamber. These directions have been translated through 3 main pillars:

The target was achieved.

The target of 1% was exceeded, representing reaching 350 establishments. The center was able to reach 413 establishments, representing an increase of 0.18%.

Projects and Initiatives 2021

Ajman International Virtual Education and Training Exhibition Project:

Organizing an annual virtual exhibition in the Emirate of Ajman with local and international participation from universities and private institutes to serve the educational sector. This is done by providing a virtual platform to showcase the most important academic specializations, attracting leading educational institutions to inform participating institutions about the developments in the education sector in the Emirate and the facilities it provides for investment. It also promotes higher educational and training institutions such as international universities, colleges, and training institutes, providing a platform to display their services and products, and informing parents and interested students about the latest developments in the education sector. It highlights the latest advancements in higher education, including programs and competitions that align with future professions. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for educational institutions wishing to invest in the Emirate of Ajman to meet with decision-makers and learn about the available laws and facilities.

The Chamber's Smart Application:

A comprehensive smart application for Ajman Chamber services that enables customers to benefit from all the services provided by the Chamber easily and quickly.

Digitization of the Request for Establishment Membership Information Service:

This is a project that aims to transform the application and payment process into an electronic one to facilitate service procedures, save time and effort, and increase customer satisfaction.

"Ish'ar" Platform in Cooperation with the Federation of Chambers:

The "Ish'ar" platform works to monitor all challenges and commercial issues of interest to its members at the local and federal levels, then studies them, develops proposed solutions, and coordinates with the relevant authorities in the public sector to reconsider economic policies, laws, and regulations with the aim of protecting and nurturing the interests of its members.

Ajman Exports Directory:

This is a directory project for factories, which aims to create a competitive environment in the Emirate of Ajman for the industrial sector, spread awareness about exporting factories in the Emirate, promote them, and develop exports.

"Furas" Platform in collaboration with the Federation of Chambers:

An electronic platform that provides data, statistics, and opportunities for export and trade exchange for exported and imported goods and products.

Digital Innovation Pledge:

Driven by Ajman Chamber's commitment to developing and implementing an effective and integrated innovation program, the Innovation Pledge document was prepared to implement and develop the necessary procedures and behaviors for innovation within the Chamber, to be signed and committed to by Ajman Chamber employees.

Ajman Chamber's Corporate Innovation Capabilities Development Project:

By developing the innovation strategy and system at Ajman Chamber to achieve its strategic objectives and align with its future aspirations for excellence, leadership, and keeping pace with the future. This project aims to develop the Chamber's innovation strategy, establish a comprehensive and unified system for managing innovation in the Chamber according to local and international standards and best global practices for innovation systems and mechanisms such as GINI and ISO 56002, and design an innovation lab.

Innovation and Business Development Center Project:

This project aims to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for innovation, to develop the Chamber's services and its corporate operations, stimulate the generation of ideas among its employees, and support, develop, and incubate innovative business projects in the emirate. This is achieved by providing training and mentoring programs and initiatives that encourage the development of innovative products and services in the business sector, enhancing the Chamber's role in innovation and competitiveness, supporting the application of innovation in the business sector, and establishing the first innovation center dedicated to the business sector in the emirate.

Entrepreneurs' Guide:

Designing the Entrepreneurs' Guide and circulating and publishing the electronic version to members and government departments, with the aim of promoting entrepreneurs and supporting business continuity.

The Legal Library:

An electronic library that allows members to access all economic and commercial laws and any new legislation related to the business environment. The project's scope includes a feature allowing members to express their opinions and developmental suggestions on laws and legislation, to convey their voice to the competent authorities with the aim of developing the business environment in the emirate.

UAE-Australian Business Forum:

Participation in the UAE-Australian Business Forum in the presence of the Prime Minister of Australia, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and a number of Emirati and Australian officials.
The forum was attended by a large number of companies and government departments to discuss various aspects of the economy, tourism, and trade exchange.

Visit to the Moldova Pavilion:

We were briefed on the most important landmarks, learned about the nature of investment there, and became familiar with their innovations.

Visit to the Poland Pavilion:

We were briefed on the pavilion, which is distinguished by its yacht-like interior design. Poland excels in yacht design in terms of the wood used and the interior decoration.

Visit to the Kosovo Pavilion:

Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Liza Gashi, the pavilion director, and a number of officials, and holding a discussion about Expo 2020 and its impact on tourism and investment in the country.

Visit to the Barbados Pavilion:

A country distinguished by its stunning nature, with its capital Bridgetown, where the majority of the country's population resides.
It contains ports where the local fishing fleet, tourist yachts, and some of the world's largest cruise ships dock.
Its economy is concentrated on all resources, including fishing, transport, and communications.
There is a new economic trend based on biofuels, marine energy, and the pharmaceutical and marine industries.

Republic of Serbia Business Forum in Ajman:

Visited the Grenada and Costa Rica pavilions; both have an interest in education and medicine. Costa Rica has allocated its budget for military, education, and healthcare. It generates 98% of its electricity from renewable energy, and 12 of the world's 30 most important medical companies have chosen to establish factories in Costa Rica. Grenada has one of the best medical universities in the world, St. George's University, and is also interested in agricultural and marine investments. Cocoa, nutmeg, fruits, and vegetables represent the largest part of its exports.

Visited the Germany pavilion and met with Ms. Daniela, the Deputy Director of the pavilion. An invitation was sent to them to visit Ajman Chamber and discuss cooperation opportunities and exchange experiences.

Visited the Italy pavilion and met with the pavilion director, Andrea Marin, to discuss cooperation opportunities between the two parties.
The pavilions of Armenia, South Africa, Turkey, and Zambia were also visited.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Business Forum in Ajman:

Visit of the Bosnia and Herzegovina delegation to Ajman Chamber:

H.E. Hamad bin Rashid Al Nuaimi - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ajman Chamber and H.E. Salem bin Ahmed Al Nuaimi - Member of the Board of Directors received H.E. Adnan Delic - Minister of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation and discussing investment opportunities. The visit is part of the plan of exchanging visits and delegations on the sidelines of participating in Expo 2020 Dubai.

1. Information and Communication Technology.

2. The tourism sector, and the tourism potential and rich nature that Bosnia and Herzegovina possess.

3. The agriculture and food industries sector, and the promising opportunities it provides.

4. The automotive industry sector, and the wood and furniture industry sector.

5. The pharmaceutical industry sector, and the country's advanced laboratories and high production capacity in this sector.

Coordinating a visit for a delegation from Kosovo:

In the presence of the Commercial Attaché and his deputy and a member from the embassy in Abu Dhabi, the meeting discussed investment opportunities between the two countries, key activities, and trade development. A proposal was also made to hold a business forum for investors between the two countries, which aims to increase trade, exports, and supply.

Meeting with Ajman Municipality and Planning Department and coordinating to hold an event:

A meeting was held with the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department to coordinate an event at the department's headquarters. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Issa Al Awadhi and Engineer Latifa.

Visiting pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai:

Visiting pavilions at the Expo, and getting to know trade delegations and officials, with the aim of holding meetings with them and inviting them to visit Ajman Chamber and organize events aimed at developing the economy. The following pavilions were contacted: Australia, Estonia, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Uruguay.

The Slovenian Pavilion:

Meeting with Mr. Marko from the Slovenian Pavilion, proposing a visit to Ajman Chamber and coordinating an event for companies, in addition to the participation of companies in Ajman in the events held at the Slovenia pavilion.

Visiting a number of pavilions and inviting them to attend the Land Department event:

Visiting the following pavilions and inviting them to attend the Land Department event: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey, Oman, Russia, Slovenia, Egypt, Kosovo, and Poland.

Meeting with the director of the Egypt pavilion:

A meeting was held with Dr. Khalid - Director of the Egypt pavilion, to discuss an invitation for an official visit to Ajman Chamber. A discussion was also held about holding an event in the Egyptian pavilion in cooperation with other pavilions for food companies.

Meeting with the Australia pavilion:

A remote meeting was held with Ms. Manisha - Director of the Australian pavilion, and it was agreed to send an invitation along with providing her with information about the Emirate of Ajman with the aim of visiting Ajman Chamber.

Meeting with the director of the Poland pavilion:

Meeting with Mr. Mounir - Director of the Poland pavilion, and agreeing to invite him to visit Ajman Chamber. Accordingly, a Business Forum for members will be held in the coming period.

Meeting with officials in the Russia pavilion:

Meeting with Ms. Mira from the Russia pavilion, inviting her to attend the Lands event, and discussing holding a meeting with the aim of inviting her for an official visit to Ajman Chamber.

Bosnia and Herzegovina delegation:

A list of food and tourism companies in the emirate was provided to the Bosnia pavilion. The UAE pavilion was also contacted for the delegation's visit.

Coordinating a visit for a delegation from Kosovo:

Contacting the Kosovo delegation to follow up on the business forum and attend the National Day event.

Meeting with officials from the Lebanon pavilion:

A remote meeting with Mr. Ahmed - Director of the Lebanon pavilion, to discuss the Lebanese Forum and the participation of food companies in Ajman in the forum.

Meeting with the director of the Estonia pavilion:

A meeting was held with Ms. Ege - Director of the Estonia pavilion, and she requested to coordinate a visit to meet the chairman of Ajman Chamber in the presence of the Minister of Economy.

Land and Property Department Event:

Coordinating and supervising the Land and Property Department event in the presence of H.E. Omar bin Omair, Director-General of the Department, representatives from a number of pavilions, and the commercial attachés of some countries. The event was titled "Invest in Ajman".

Coordinating and supervising the Municipality Department event:

The Municipality Department event was coordinated and supervised in the presence of H.E. Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi - Director General, executive directors, and a number of business owners and engineers. The event was titled "Rawaq".

Visit to the United Kingdom Pavilion:

The UK pavilion was visited and a date was set for a meeting to coordinate a visit to the Chamber.

Visit to the Luxembourg Pavilion:

The Luxembourg pavilion was visited, and officials were contacted to set a date for a meeting to discuss visiting the Chamber and holding a business forum.

Tourism Development Department Event:

The Expo 2020 team was visited and coordination was made with them to hold an event for the Tourism Development Department.

Meeting with officials in the Russia pavilion:

Meeting with Ms. Mira from the Russia pavilion, inviting her to the Lands event, and discussing holding a meeting with the aim of inviting her for an official visit to Ajman Chamber.

Bosnia Delegation:

Contacting the Bosnia delegation to follow up on holding a business forum, in addition to attending the National Day event.

Visit of an economic delegation from the Republic of Kosovo

As part of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry's efforts to diversify its economic cooperation with countries participating in Expo 2020 Dubai, the Chamber received an economic delegation from the Republic of Kosovo to discuss economic cooperation, open prospects for partnership between the business communities of the two countries, discuss ways to increase bilateral trade volume, and highlight the most prominent investment opportunities in both Ajman and Kosovo.
The delegation was headed by H.E. Alban Vitah - Commissioner General of the Republic of Kosovo, in the presence of Mr. Bujar Dastur - Deputy Commissioner General. The visiting delegation was received at the Ajman Chamber headquarters by Mr. Mohamed Ali Al Janahi - Executive Director of the Trade Development and International Sectors and H.E. Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Nuaimi - Director of Relations and Member Support at the Ajman Chamber.

Recommendations and outcomes of the Kosovo visit:

Providing a fertile investment environment for the business community: Characterized by flexibility and speed in completing transactions and procedures that meet the aspirations of merchants and businessmen.

Creating a global platform for cooperation, partnership, and exchange of experiences: And reviewing best practices in various fields.

Diversifying sectors in light of the momentum of available investment opportunities: In sectors such as "industry, real estate, construction, tourism, education, health, services, and others."

Diversifying foreign visits through the Expo 2020 portal: And working to enhance commercial communication for the business community in the Emirate of Ajman with its counterparts in various countries of the world, and discussing ways to arrange visits and joint meetings.

Visit of the Republic of Slovenia to Ajman Chamber:

Ajman Chamber receives an economic delegation from the Republic of Slovenia to discuss joint cooperation as part of the Chamber's efforts to enhance its economic cooperation with the countries participating in Expo 2020. The delegation reviewed the diverse assets that the Emirate of Ajman enjoys, while also highlighting the economy of Ajman and the efforts made by the concerned authorities in the Emirate to facilitate doing business, under the guidance of the wise leadership.

Attending the Businessmen Forum at the Slovenia Pavilion:

Attended the Businessmen Forum in Slovenia and delivered a speech about investment in Ajman and the most important investment opportunities. The forum was also attended by the president of the Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia and a number of officials and company owners.

Visit to the Uruguay Pavilion:

Visited the Uruguay pavilion and met with the pavilion director, Ms. Barbara. The Chamber was invited to attend the National Day celebrations in the presence of the President of Uruguay and a number of ministers.

Visit to the Kuwait Pavilion:

Visited the Kuwait pavilion and coordinated with officials and the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce to invite them to visit the Chamber and explore the possibility of holding a business forum.

Receiving a delegation from the Republic of Slovenia:

A delegation from the Republic of Slovenia was received at the Ajman Chamber headquarters, headed by Mr. Jaka Miklavčič - Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, and they were received by Mr. Mohamed Al Janahi. Investment opportunities and the possibility of holding a business forum were discussed, along with the most important avenues for investment between the two countries.

Expo Members Project

Arranging monthly visits for members to Expo 2020 Dubai, based on the exhibition's schedule of events, with the aim of creating investment opportunities for members and learning about best practices.

Attendance and Participation in the Annual Future of Food Industries Forum:

Members from the food sector were contacted and invited to participate in the forum, and they expressed the benefit of their participation. The forum is a platform to showcase solutions and our infrastructure to attract industry experts and address the challenges facing food and beverage manufacturers, producers, major brand owners, retailers, logistics and technology service providers, and government organizations. It also aims to foster participation in food manufacturing businesses and secure a strong national food security strategy to foresee and shape the future of the United Arab Emirates.

Women and World Trade Conference:

The conference was attended by a delegation from the UAE Businesswomen's Council. A delegation from Ajman University (Ajman University Council for Women's Empowerment) and members holding the Bedayat license also attended.

Attendance and Participation in the Investors Business Forum - Sierra Leone:

Members from the oil sector were contacted and invited to participate in the forum. The Chamber's members also participated in the National Day celebration events of the Republic of Sierra Leone and attended the Sierra Leonean Businessmen Forum.

A delegation from the Roads and Transport Authority.

Attendance at "The Hotel Show":

Members from the tourism sectors, especially the hotel sector, were contacted and invited to participate in the exhibition.

Investment Opportunities in the Republic of Paraguay:

Members from different sectors were contacted and invited to participate in the conference.

Signing of an agreement between Ajman Chamber and the Russian Pavilion.

The Economic Diplomatic Council.

Visit of a Board Member to Expo 2020.

Attendance at the UAE-Mongolian Business Forum:

Members from different sectors were contacted and invited to participate in the forum. Trade and investment in Mongolia were discussed, and the most prominent investment opportunities were identified.

Expo Zambia.

Pharmaceutical Conference:

Members from the pharmacy and outpatient clinics sector were contacted and invited to attend the conference.

"Women and World Trade" Conference:

The conference was attended by a delegation from the UAE Businesswomen Council, a delegation from Ajman University (Ajman University Council for Women's Empowerment), and members holding the Bedayat license.

Visit of the Bosnian Minister of Economy.

"Omani Businesswomen" Delegation:

The Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship was introduced, the Council was presented, and membership in the Ajman Business Women Council was promoted, in addition to introducing the most important industries in Ajman.

Delegation from the Republic of Kosovo.

Medical Industries Conference at Expo 2020 (Poland Pavilion):

Members from the pharmacy and clinics sector were contacted and invited to attend the conference.

Visit of the Bosnian Delegation.

Visit of the Republic of Serbia Delegation to the Chamber.

2021

Virtual Partners Forum 5525:

One of the most important initiatives of the Ajman Business Women Council, this virtual forum brings together all strategic, supporting, and collaborating partners to inform them about the Council's general strategic plan, its programs, and projects, and to discuss with them how to develop them to provide sustainable and comprehensive services to project owners and benefit from deepening partnerships. A key objective of the forum was to strengthen ties between businesswomen's communities and relevant institutions and bodies, activate existing partnerships, attract new quality partnerships to serve project owners, and strengthen links between project owners and authorities.

"Rofouf" (Shelves) Initiative:

A marketing outlet for members of the Ajman Business Women Council to market and sell their products (canned food, perfumes and incense, handicrafts, and clothes) in multiple locations. It aims to support vital projects that meet community needs and are linked to its economic and social security.

Ajman Virtual Forum for Social Responsibility:

It is a virtual forum aimed at showcasing the best practices of social responsibility inside and outside the country, through collaboration with a selection of specialized speakers, and presenting a range of distinguished initiatives in the field of social responsibility during the forum.

RRS Application:

A smart application for the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility in cooperation with the Information Technology and Smart Solutions Department, aimed at helping individuals and institutions donate their unused items, whether usable or recyclable, to charities and recycling companies. The application allows the user to upload a picture of the product to be donated and choose a time to contact the relevant parties, whether charities or recycling companies.

Adoption of Social Responsibility Policy Project:

Organizing and activating the role of the Ajman Center to encourage the business sector to apply social responsibility practices to develop institutional mechanisms and policies, alongside establishing guiding policies and procedures that regulate and clarify the organizational framework for social responsibility contributions and the mechanism for documenting, managing, and directing them in the Emirate of Ajman. This is in addition to committing to international standards and achieving sustainable development for the community in general and for employees in institutions in particular.

Initiatives of the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility:

"One Hand with People of Determination" Initiative:

The "One Hand with People of Determination" initiative was launched, aiming to address the needs and requirements of students of determination currently studying in Ajman's universities and to integrate them into society.

"Workers' Health Day" Initiative:

The Ajman Center for Social Responsibility, in collaboration with Amina Hospital and Saif Tex Factory, organized the free medical check-ups initiative for workers to conduct a number of medical tests. This initiative aims to improve the general health level of this working segment to achieve the best desired results by detecting diseases suffered by workers.

Number of beneficiaries: 60

Tests: Blood pressure, diabetes, weight, and height.

"Workers' Health Day" Initiative:

The Center implemented the second "Workers' Health Day" initiative in collaboration with Ajman Specialty General Hospital, Al Arab and Al Hind Factory, and Sebamed Company, aiming to provide medical check-ups for private sector workers. A range of medical tests were provided to them.

Number of beneficiaries: 175

Tests: Blood sugar level, blood pressure, cholesterol test, blood fat percentage, and weight and height measurement to determine body mass index.

"Winter Clothing for Students" Initiative:

The Ajman Center for Social Responsibility, one of the initiatives of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, launched an initiative to distribute products from the Socks Factory to students of the Manar Al Iman Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Socks Factory in the Ajman Free Zone.

A memorandum of understanding was signed with Ajman Specialty General Hospital, aiming to provide health services and special discounts to Chamber members from companies and factories.

Memorandum of Understanding with Amina Hospital:

The Ajman Center for Social Responsibility, under the Ajman Chamber, signed a memorandum of understanding with "Amina Hospital" of the "Anglo Arabian Healthcare" group, to enhance cooperation and work on joint initiatives, hold awareness programs and educational workshops, and conduct examinations for employees of companies and factories in the Emirate of Ajman, in line with the vision and strategic goals of both parties.

Most Important Awareness Workshops and Training Courses 2021:

"Concept of Social Responsibility" Workshop:

The Ajman Center for Social Responsibility, an initiative of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized a workshop titled "Concept of Social Responsibility" as part of the Center's efforts to educate the business community about social responsibility and its role in the sustainability and development of companies' businesses, and the importance of the private sector's role in promoting the concept on a wider scale in the community as a whole.

"Applications of Social Responsibility" Workshop:

The Ajman Center for Social Responsibility organized the "Applications of Social Responsibility" workshop. A group of private companies and establishments in the Emirate of Ajman and those interested in the field of social responsibility participated, with the aim of raising awareness of the culture of social responsibility and learning about best practices.

About the Center:

As part of the Ajman Chamber's commitment to attracting investments and encouraging entrepreneurs to venture into the freelance business sector and sustain national projects of all kinds, and given that the economic environment and commercial components in the emirate are attractive to small and medium-sized enterprises, a specialized program was established. This program focuses on youth projects in the Emirate of Ajman from their inception, providing necessary advisory and training support, evaluating the project plan, incubating it, marketing and promoting it, in addition to financing and follow-up until it is empowered.

We provide promotional photography services, organize participation in internal and external exhibitions, and create and organize exhibitions to market their businesses.

Project Follow-up Office

The Project Follow-up Office conducts periodic field visits to members' projects, and evaluates existing and new projects. It prepares a report on projects that financial funding applicants wish to purchase in the case of a request for funding to buy an existing project, and receives disbursement requests from the Ajman Business Support Center members' office and visits the project to approve the progress report.

About Participation in "SIAL Middle East 2021" Exhibition:

SIAL Middle East exhibition in its eleventh edition, organized by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) in partnership with the Comexposium Group for organizing exhibitions and events. The exhibition included the participation of about 450 exhibitors from 24 countries, in addition to the participation of 12 international pavilions. The exhibition, which is one of the largest specialized events in the food and beverage sector, is launched with wide participation from local, regional, and international specialized institutions and highlights the latest innovations, technologies, global food security, and global and future trends in the food, beverage, and hospitality sector. The SIAL Middle East exhibition is one of the largest platforms for interaction between emerging food markets, encouraging innovation in the food and beverage field, alongside many investment opportunities.
