بعد الاطلاع على الدستور،

— وعلى القانون الاتحادي رقم (1) لسنة 1972 بشأن اختصاصات الوزارات وصلاحيات الوزراء، وتعديلاته،

— وعلى القانون الاتحادي رقم (2) لسنة 1984 في شأن ممارسة مواطني دول مجلس التعاون للأنشطة الاقتصادية في الدولة،

— وبناءً على ما عرضه وزير الاقتصاد، وموافقة مجلس الوزراء،

أصدرنا المرسوم بقانون الآتي:

يُعامل مواطني دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية من الأشخاص الطبيعيين أو الاعتباريين معاملة مواطني الدولة في ممارسة الأنشطة الاقتصادية والمهن في الدولة، فيما عدا الأنشطة الاقتصادية والمهن التي يصدر بها قرار من المجلس الأعلى لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية أو يصدر قرار من مجلس الوزراء باستثنائها أو وضع ضوابط واشتراطات خاصة لممارستها.

يُلغى القانون الاتحادي رقم (2) لسنة 1984 في شأن ممارسة مواطني دول مجلس التعاون للأنشطة الاقتصادية في الدولة.

يُنشر هذا المرسوم بقانون في الجريدة الرسمية، ويُعمل به من اليوم التالي لتاريخ نشره.

Having reviewed the Constitution,

— And Federal Law No. (1) of 1972 regarding the Competencies of Ministries and the Powers of Ministers, and its amendments,

— And Federal Law No. (2) of 1984 regarding the Practice of Economic Activities in the State by Citizens of the Cooperation Council States,

— And based on the proposal of the Minister of Economy, and the approval of the Cabinet,

We have issued the following Decree-Law:

Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, whether natural or legal persons, shall be treated as citizens of the State in the practice of economic activities and professions in the State, except for the economic activities and professions for which a decision is issued by the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf or a decision is issued by the Cabinet to exempt them or to establish special controls and conditions for their practice.

Federal Law No. (2) of 1984 regarding the Practice of Economic Activities in the State by Citizens of the Cooperation Council States is hereby repealed.

This Decree-Law shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force on the day following the date of its publication.
